This Mar-Tea-Ni is so delectable, you may want to drink it as your dessert. Prepared with a flavored white tea, it is a very versatile recipe with a flavor that is reminiscent of tiramisu. While it is intended to be presented as a layered martini, enjoyed at room temperature, it can also be shaken with ice and strained into a martini glass as a very tasty variation. White Tea-Ra-Misu Mar-Tea-Ni 1 oz Kahlúa Liqueur 1 oz white Crème de Cacao Liqueur 2 oz double strength Berry WhiteTM Tea ½ oz heavy whipping cream (optional) Grated dark or semi-sweet chocolate
Instructions- Brew the double strength tea ahead of time and let sit until it's at room temperature. Don't chill the iced tea - it will make it cloudy.
- Dredge the rim of a martini glass in the shaved chocolate.
- Using a bar spoon, carefully layer the Kahlúa, Crème de Cacao, room temperature tea, and whipping cream on top of each other in the martini glass.
- Serve with a stirrer and mix just before consuming.
Makes 1 Large Drink Variation 1- Fill a martini shaker 1/3 full with ice.
- Pour the liquid ingredients into the martini shaker and shake until the outside of the shaker is frosty.
- Strain the martini into a chilled martini glass with shaved chocolate around the rim.
